Terms and Conditions

1. Scope

These terms apply to every cruise, day tour and extra service booked through the VIBE Halong Cruises website. By completing a booking you confirm that you have read and accepted them on behalf of all guests in your party.

2. Booking and payment

  • A booking is confirmed once full payment has been received and a booking code (VH-xxxxxx) has been sent to your email.
  • All prices are quoted in US dollars and include VAT, cabin, meals on board as listed in the itinerary, entrance fees to Ha Long Bay and kayaking.
  • Drinks, spa treatments, tips and optional extra services are not included unless stated otherwise.

3. Cancellation and changes

  • More than 30 days before departure: full refund minus a 5% processing fee.
  • 15 to 30 days before departure: 50% of the total booking value is refunded.
  • Less than 15 days before departure or no-show: no refund.
  • Date changes are free once if requested at least 15 days before departure, subject to availability.

4. Children

Children under 5 travel free when sharing a bed with parents. Children aged 5 to 11 pay the child rate shown on the cruise page. Guests aged 12 and over are charged as adults.

5. Weather and safety

When the Quang Ninh Port Authority suspends cruising due to storms or bad weather, we will offer a new date or a full refund. The captain may change the route for safety reasons without prior notice; this does not entitle guests to compensation.

6. Guest responsibilities

Guests must carry a valid passport or ID card for registration on board, follow the crew's safety instructions and must not bring durian, pets or illegal substances on the ship.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Any dispute will first be resolved through negotiation and, failing that, by the competent court of Quang Ninh Province.
